Lagan Aviation & Infrastructure delivered a US$34-million runway extension project at Sangster International Airport (SIA) in Montego Bay, Jamaica.

In partnership with local firm S&G Road Surfacing Materials Limited, we added a 408m extension to the runway and implemented runway end safety areas (RESA) at both ends, ensuring that SIA now complies with the highest international standards.

The extended runway enhances operational capabilities, allowing for higher payloads and increased visitor traffic. It also opens new gateways and routes, making Jamaica even more accessible to the world.
